Confirmation
Confirmation classes run throughout the school year. In confirmation we are assisting you in bringing up your child in Christ Jesus so that they can claim that covenant for themselves. Confirmation is an opportunity for them to renew their baptismal vow and to explore the faith into which they have been baptized. Currently, our program is a three year cycle including study of Luther’s Small Catechism, Old Testament and the New Testament. We meet Sunday morning from 9am to 9:50am. The youth are put into small groups that meet twice monthly in host homes with a group leader to review class topics, create friendships and do some overall relationship building. We also encourage our confirmation youth to serve in worship as acolytes, ushers, readers or cantors.
