Youth Groups
3 – 5 Grade Youth
The 3 – 5 grade youth meet once a month September through May. Our meetings are scheduled for Wednesday afternoons at 4pm and will end just in time for “Together at Grace”. During that time we typically play games, make a craft or do a service project, have an object lesson, enjoy yummy snacks and have a ton of fun.
Middle School Youth
The middle school youth group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month 6:30pm – 8pm. It’s a great time to hang out with friends, play some crazy games, talk about what’s going on in our lives and generally have a good time. The middle school youth also attend Youth Quake each November, have a snow trip in the winter, participate in the 30 hour Famine as well as other service projects and if Beth will let them … have a lock in whenever they can.
Confirmation
Our confirmation program is for 6th through 8th grade youth and is designed to assist parents in bringing up their child in Christ Jesus. Confirmation is an opportunity for your child to renew their baptismal vow and to explore the faith into which they have been baptized. Class time is Sunday mornings at 9:00am. Small groups meet in host homes twice a month at 6:30pm.
Senior High Youth
The senior high youth meet each Sunday evening from 6:30pm – 8:00pm. Sunday nights are a great time to touch base and see how everyone is doing. In the time frame we may get into a heated discussion about our faith or about the Wenatchee vs. Eastmont rivalries, we may stumble around in the dark playing games or laugh so hard that… well … accidents happen. The senior high youth also enjoy synod gatherings, snow trips, Habitat, Mexico Missions, 30 Hour Famine, Mariners games, arena football and any other excuse to get together and have a good time!
